VERSIYA 1.0 is a 1 hour performance recorded in a single take. No computers, no pre-recorded samples. This is pure synthesis and physical interaction with hardware.

THE CONCEPT
The core of this performance is a sonic reflection on the global AI crisis and the shifting world order we are witnessing today. The musical dramaturgy follows the decay of the familiar cultural landscape ("scorched earth") and the subsequent emergence of a more complex, new organic form from its ruins.

The visual aesthetic was specifically developed in Resolume Arena for this program. The contrast between the "Blue Technical Screen" (representing system failure) and fractal glitches visualizes the same processes occurring in the sound.

The program was shaped between December 2025 and January 2026. After a 1.5-month "aging" period, it was captured in March 2026 as this definitive Version 1.0.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
I am Yury (Wadada), an independent electronic musician, founder of the 3Underground label, and creator of the Underground Vibes podcast. My approach, "Physical Techno," emphasizes live synthesis, tactile hardware control, and a rejection of commercial standards in favor of an authentic underground sound.

Soul Circuits (Lo-Fi · Instrumental Hip-Hop · Soul/Funk Fragments · Octatrack Live)

Soul Circuits is an 1 hour odyssey through the world of soul and funk fragments.
The material was hand-picked from my collection, prepared, processed, unified sonically — and then performed live on the Octatrack over a hip-hop–influenced beat framework.

Over the course of 63 minutes, you’ll hear 52 mostly instrumental fragments taken from 36 compositions released between 1971 and 1981 — the golden era of soul, funk and disco-funk, reimagined in a new form.

For me, Soul Circuits is a step outside my usual territory.
It’s an experiment beyond my habitual genres and, perhaps, the boldest way I’ve ever interacted with someone else’s music. Stylistically it sits close to chillout beats, instrumental hip-hop, trip-hop.

The project is stored on my Octatrack’s flash card — ready to be resurrected at any moment, either in its current state or in a reworked version. A month earlier, by a fortunate coincidence, I had the chance to test this material live at the bar “Ugol”; now I’m presenting its studio video recording.
